He is the last born in the family of eight siblings from the union of the late Jameson Banda and Lizneth Makuluni Banda; may their souls continue to rest in eternal peace.

THE CHURCH AND MINISTRY
Prophet Meek Banda’s transformational journey into ministry began in August 2013, when he gave his life to Christ under the spiritual covering of the Malawi Assemblies of God – Kawale Harvest Temple. During this formative season, he faithfully served under the late Apostle Stephen Banda, whose mentorship laid a foundational imprint on his spiritual path. After a year of committed service, Prophet Meek continued his mentorship under Pastor John Ezekiel, where his prophetic identity began to take clearer shape.
In 2014, the course of his life was supernaturally redirected when Angel Gabriel appeared to him in a vision, revealing his divine calling and the global mandate for what would become the Word-Manna Ministry. This celestial encounter ignited a period of intense consecration: Prophet Meek embarked on over 72 days of dry fasting and prayer—consuming food only once daily at 8pm—followed by an additional 14 days and nights of complete abstinence from food and water in preparation for his prophetic assignment. It was through this sacred communion that he received divine direction regarding the nature and scope of his global ministry.
In February 2016, Prophet Meek Banda was officially ordained and released into ministry through the laying on of hands by his biological mother, the Late Mrs. L.B. Banda. Since that consecrated moment, God has consistently affirmed the authenticity of Prophet Meek’s calling through an outpouring of supernatural works—accurate revelations, prophetic insight, soul-winning, miraculous healings, and divine wonders. His ministry has borne witness to prophetic utterances over individuals, nations, and global events—including socio-economic shifts, government transitions, and electoral outcomes—always aligned with the will of God.
Later that same year, Prophet Meek established *Holy-Word Jesus Ministries (HOJEM)*, which operated from 2016 to 2022 as the first structured expression of his calling. In 2022, guided by divine instruction, this ministry transitioned into a fully established church—*Word-Manna Church*. Under his apostolic leadership, the church was formally structured with the founding of 12 Divisions, each serving as a foundational pillar to advance its kingdom mandate locally and globally.

Mr. Banda is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Phrase Holdings International Incorporated (PHI Inc.), a global consultancy firm offering specialized services in offshore banking, citizenship by investment programs, facilitation of gold trading, and strategic crowdfunding solutions, particularly tailored for South African citizens and enterprises. Under his stewardship, PHI Inc. has become a respected catalyst for wealth creation, international mobility, and financial literacy across the continent.
Among his many entrepreneurial endeavors, Mr. Banda also pioneered Admel Nigo Corporation (ANICO), a company specializing in property development and real estate management. ANICO has emerged as a leader in constructing quality housing units-both for rental and sale, with a focus on urban expansion and sustainable residential solutions in Lilongwe and Blantyre – Malawi.
Expanding his vision under a broader African initiative, Mr. Banda introduced Zareen Baig Consortium (ZABACO African Ltd.) – a pan-African conglomerate known for championing three core sectors: Transportation, Agriculture, and the production of proudly African Zareen Baig-branded consumer goods, such as the Zareen Mountain Dew Pure Water. ZABACO continues to inspire economic inclusivity and local empowerment.
A creative at heart with a passion for storytelling, Mr. Banda leads Meek-Face Multimedia, a thriving audiovisual studio and events company operating in both South Africa and Malawi. The studio is renowned for its excellence in music recording, video production, and live event management—serving as a platform for cultural expression, innovation, and artistic empowerment.
In the realm of spiritual leadership, Mr. Banda is the visionary founder of Word-Manna Church and its various global divisions, where he serves communities with prophetic insight, biblical teaching, and divine instruction. As a cultural unifier and diasporic advocate, he also chairs Chilinganizo Cha A Malawi (CCAM) – a global village initiative for Malawians living abroad, promoting cultural preservation, unity, and socio-economic advancement.
